 It just seemed wrong for him to react to the threat that way. I
like when he shows strength.

 That`s how I see it too, and it`s not unrealistic. An assassination
attempt on our leader by a foreign country couldn`t possibly go smoothly
for them. The vice president couldn`t ignore it, and neither could
congress.
