 A day after his brainfart, Trump had to withdraw his ill-conceived
plan to impose a 20% toll. By his own account, he was able to make
other wonderful deals with the Gulf States. So be it. I think the deal
is, at best, that the US is allowed to stay a little longer, but
imposing a 20% toll is an idea with which the region wants to sever all
ties with the US completely as quickly as possible.
