 Either the owner of the data center, or the person who deployed
the AI bot seems like the person who is responsible. Even if they
"created a monster" that does things it didn`t program it to do. If my car
is parked and someone rear-ends it, and it slams into a car in front
of it, my insurance is liable for damage to the car in front.
(Right?)

the script in the first place, or shut off the power at the data
center. We can`t blame machines for things we allow them to do.

 Exactly. That`s why I don`t trust any of this "guardrail" crap.
It`s a scam in itself.
