AI is here and it looks like it may be here to stay.

Like everything else the US needs to develop and dominate.  

 For example... 1st car was invented in Europe, then comes Ford and
he finds a way to mass produce the vehicles and make them affordable.

 100+++++ years later America is the leading force in all industries
and Europe is our little bitch!!! Socialism rules!!!!

 Back to the topic... President Carter federalized the Teachers and
with this top down approach there are people in far away places making
decisions about your child`s education.

 I argue that this should be done at a more local level reflecting
local norms and not ones ones from Washington.

 Having said this... My 2 older daughters went to a private school,
a Christian one. On top of the fees we paid parents had to volunteer
time as
well.

 Core subjects only. Anything below 80% was a fail and had to be
redone. They taught the kids speed reading, both my daughters read novels
in the span of a few hours. Public speaking was an other thing they
taught them... 

 The school always chose kids to do things, not because they were
good at it but rather they needed to develop a skill. More times than
not we went to school plays and they would feature a kid singing that
sounded like "Edith Bunker" from all in the family. 

They always pushed the kids to go out of their comfort zone and try.

Closing ideas...

 I don`t think education should be a federal thing. Maybe "loosely"
a state thing, setting standards, but mostly at the county level.

 Having people there to assist, like we did at my daughters` school,
and had AI dealing with the core subjects would be cool.

Federal teachers, and their unions, should be outlawed.

 I understand that AI can be used for evil. If its regulated
correctly, like the nuclear industry, it can be used for good.

AI is hear and it may be here to stay.  Make it awesome.
