 Senator Tim Scott from NC once told a story about his grandfather
who could not read but pretended to read the news paper daily at the
kitchen table. He wanted to, among other things as well, let his
grandchildren know the importance of being able to read.

 Tim talks about his heritage, he was a direct decedent of slaves
and his parents, and that grandfather grew up to be a US Senator.

Let that sink in.

 Here`s a story... I once helped my second daughter write an essay,
she was ~ 8 or 9. I introduces my daughter to a concept I use... I
called it adding fluff, I know I didn`t invent this but I figured it out
and that`s the name I gave it.

 When I was in school I had to write some papers that were
20-30-40 pages long. Sometimes you needed to add some fluff... 1/2 a page
to explain what I`m about to tell you... 1/2 a page telling you...
and 1/2 a page (or more) telling you what I just told you... dovetail
it in nice. I could add 2 or3 pages to help me reach my goal.

I called it fluff.

I have a point...

 Decades later I`m walking with this daughter, she`s a Social Worker
who works with homeless and drug addicted in Fort McMurray (AKA Fort
Mac).

 My daughter did up a resume for the homeless guy... He use to
drag around a lawnmower and cut lawns for money. 

 The resume sounded like this... You have sales experience because
you knocked on doors asking to cut their lawn. You have experience in
finance because someone paid you directly... You have experience in
maintenance because
filled up the lawnmower with gas... You get the idea!!!

She then said... wait for it... I added some fluff here, here and here.

HAHAHA

 On top of completing the best resume I ever saw, even though this
was a homeless drug addict, she utilized my fluff concept the she heard
about when she was young.

 Have faith and be positive. Do not take the back pill and sound
or be discouraged in front of your kids. Give them the foundation they
need and turn them loose.

 Florida is a School Choice state... This means that if I chose to
send my kids to a private school ~$9,000.00 moves with my kid to that
school. So, it the tuition was $12,000.00 a year I just pay the
difference, so I`d ow 3K.

 Trump is trying to dismantle the federal aspect to the educational
system in the US. It needs to be at the state level, even better if its
at the county level.
