Wasn`t that bad to be honest, it`s fairly gently rolling between the North
and South Downs, after all one of the "London" airports Gatwick is there.
The last climb to Brighton is a bit of effort but much like with geared
bikes is mostly feeding and getting the food down you!

Luckily can with the North downs ie home leg go though the gap in the Downs
at Dorking for most part!

I`ve almost certainly done harder rides but would of been off road so the
distance is by some margin less ie some big 60ish gravel rides or 30 ish
mile MTB rides over well mountains have been quite epic!

I`m much better at fuelling than I was, as I`ve leaned from the roadies as
it`s not generally something MTBers are much good at!
