 Have you tried holding your polarizing filter in front of your
camera lens to try.
I planned to do that a few weeks ago to get the reflections from water/pond 
 reduced, but I haven;t yet managed to find my old polarizing
filter(s) but when I do... :-)

 It did make me wonder how or if AI could be used to simulate
such a thing, but not sure how it could be done
for reducing reflections.
