 Yeah looks good. I think I would probably have done it slightly
differently similar to PETSCII with mode 7 running on a different port. This
would let you set the parameters like 40 columns and have everything
displayed as they should be. Of course, you`d have to write a bunch of your
own stuff to make it work properly. I did start to try and integrate
Mode 7 stuff with Synchronet but sort of stalled out. The big issue is
you`d have to create an entire text.dat to support it.

 As you know, the main problem is that while ANSI doesn`t use any
space, the Mode 7 control characters do so you`ll have to account for
those when working out word wrapping and spacing. Maybe I`ll have another
go when I`m in the mood.
