 It`s weird that the client is sending "Xref" as an argument of the
GROUP command - that should be the name of a newsgroup, but "Xref"
likely is not.

 Yeah, it`s doing something weird. I`m not sure if there`s something
unique about the Synchronet nntpservice that`s triggering that behavior, but
it does seem unexpected.
