i dunno. i think  you should just make it so it shoots the person the 
password when they say they forgot the pw. you dont have to show the email 
address and there`s no harm done.  even show in the email  the ip 
address and say that `if this wasn`t you, you should know`.
maybe have an option to email the sysop if there`s another issue.

i just think it would be more effective overall.
