Yes, you can use binkd with Synchronet, instead of using the one
that comes with Synchronet. Just like you can use a plethora of mailers
with your BBS software.
If the sysop`s name that his system is reporting is "Ivan Ivanov"
with AKAs for both Fidonet and Linuxnet, then for some reason he`s using
the default configuration file for binkd.
