Well I figured it out. 
Looks like this document works well.

At least now I have something happening in /var/log/sbbs/sbbs.log

This document did not help me.

All the stuff I tried in the http://wiki.synchro.net/config:nix
didn`t seem to work. 

 I have to see if seperate log files actually arrive. That hasent
seemed to happen yet. Not sure why. 

More to do. Maybe with the config settings within sbbs.ini.
