 So with a typewriter, you would hit a two-key combination typing
the accent/umlaut/etc and then the letter in the same place? That`s
pretty neat.

 I would imagine. Just about everywhere outside of the US uses
special characters of some sort. MS went along because they *had* to go
along, otherwise they wouldn`t have been able to continue their quest of
world domination.

 I shouldn`t have any issues setting it up. I`ve been using the
`allow8bit` keyword in my othernet since it was added to makenl. I`ll just
have to figure out what to do with it after it is created. ;)
