AFAIR "no" to both.

 When I firdt installed Golded+ I commeted out all translattio tables
in ythe config. Under the assumption they were not needed any more.
Translation tables that for a large part I made myself and put quit a lot of
hours in. But I am happy to let go of that in favour of somethin
definitely better. ;-)
