I don`t know what the official method is but I do this:

- Copy everything in C:\\Users\\\\AppData\\Roaming\\WinPoint\\ to  
my backup directory on my NAS.

- Backup(export) the following registry key to my backup directory on my  
NAS:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Softwareew.Vision.Software\\WinPoint

Works for me! :-)
