My back ups are done using rsync and it is not ideal for simple recovery but 
in
any event I needed to do a full install that involved wiping the entire 
content
of the SSD as Mageia was making unhelp full comments regarding a efi boot 
drive
etc.

I now have the bbs/mailer, ftp and http services up but waiting for the bbs
stats and other info to update at midnight or so for any remaining files.
The VM services and the M/F links will need the w/e to work on as the M/F will
be on low to nil workloads.  The M/F stuff should be a smooth process and 
quick
once I have checked the processes, JCL`s etc to see if any require changes.
