For a reason unrelated to the TD Ameritrade/Schwab problem, I just
tried adding a new account I just opened. It froze doing that too.
Thinking that perhaps nothing at all was working in Quicken, I just
tried manually adding a transaction in an unrelated account.
Fortunately that worked.
