I chose option #1a...
Using the Turtle Graphics Rosetta Code example for Ada, I was able
to get a successful compile+link:
gnatmake main.adb -largs -Wl,-ld_classic
gcc -c main.adb
gnatbind -x main.ali
gnatlink main.ali -Wl,-ld_classic
-macosx_version_min has been renamed to -macos_version_min
