 1) Vertrauen is a ANSI BBS. You would probably have to logon to
Vertrauen with a UTF-8 terminal so the BBS can detect that you`re using a
UTF-8 terminal in order to see it properly. I would imagine some (if not
all) of the logon screens of the BBS would look good then either.

 2) Then you downloaded a QWK packet with MultiMail. I`m not sure
if MultiMail (what you used to read/write your message) supports UTF-8.
You seemed to have replied to a UTF-8 message with a CP437 charset,
which doesn`t translate properly.
