 In this case, it wasn`t even a loophole; it was out in the open
that the law was going to continue to allow thousands of undocumented
migrants per day.

 The loophole was that dumb voters would see it as "Democrats fixed
the border problem."

 I`d like to start seeing some "new laws" that increase the
penalties for crimes that directly affect the poor and middle class, but that
seems out of the question.
